Gatekeeper (Dashboards)
Overview
CAST Imaging provides three embedded dashboards - Management, Engineering and Security - through the optional dashboards component. This section covers how to configure them once they are running.

Where the configuration lives
Each dashboard is configured by a .json file that carries both its tile layout and its interface options. There are six of them, and the Security Dashboard’s is also called ed.json:

Tile customization explains how to locate and edit them on Windows, Docker and Podman, including the volume mapping the container platforms need. Configuration options covers the settings they hold.
Configured in the .json files
Locate the per-dashboard .json files on Windows, Docker and Podman, change which tiles appear and what they show, and read the tile reference for each dashboard.
The interface options in each dashboard’s configuration section, the Management-only options, the report categories, and localization.
Managed from the dashboard admin pages
These are not configured in a file. Each has its own page served by the dashboards component on port 8090.
Group applications with your own categories and tags so the Management Dashboard can filter the portfolio by them.
Check whether the components and violations search indexes are current, and rebuild them from the diagnostic page.
Force the dashboards to pick up a new snapshot, a new application or a new license without waiting for the cache to refresh itself.
