Onboard and analyze

Register an application, run an analysis, and make results available in CAST Imaging

This section covers the steps to bring an application from source code into CAST Imaging. It is intended for analysis engineers and AIP Console operators.

Step 1 is optional: assess an application with CAST Profiler when you are not yet sure it should be onboarded. Steps 2 and 3 are the onboarding flow itself. Importing an application view is not a step in that flow - it applies only to viewer-only deployments.

Step 1 - CAST Profiler (optional)

Optional. Scan an application before you onboard it, to check the delivery is complete and its technologies are supported.

Step 2 - Register and deliver source code

Create an application in CAST Imaging and deliver its source code for analysis.

Step 3 - Run a full analysis and generate a snapshot

Configure and run a full code analysis, then publish results.

Import an application view

Not part of the flow. Applies only to the S2 - Viewer Only deployment, where results are imported rather than analyzed locally.
